hi, im really new at this, i never write, but i started a couple of weeks ago, and i think i really enjoy it. anyways, CwboyAtHeart, AKA Cody, is one of my very good friends, and i showed this to him, and he said i should put it up here, lol, anyways, i dont really expect y'all to read it, but, well, um, there it is. Choice and Chance Nothing ahead of you but the world itself. with it comes choices. chances. the chance to create. but also the choice to destroy. the chance to love. but also the choice to hate. the chance the change the world. but also the choice to hurt it. make the choice. above all, step out on faith. |

Interesting poem... I like how you alternated between a "chance" and a "choice" as positive and negative things. It was an almost pessimistic view of the world, I didn't appreciate this aspect of it but I did admire the technical portion of the poem. Welcome to Passions in Poetry. I'm glad Cody invited you, it's great here. Hope to see you reading, replying and sharing with the rest of us! ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |

Wilkommen zu Passions I liked the alternating of choice and chance. I think that's what made the poem in my mind. Keepem coming SeanD. "This is cactus land!!!"-T.S.Eliot |

Impressive poem. We need more people who do step out in faith. Apparently I have a major problem with this myself. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |
