If you only knew...

I look deep within your eyes,
I sense a saddness that doesn't show.
You really try to hide it.
You don't think I could know.

I see it everyday in you.
You cannot seem to bear.
All the hell you seem to go through.
But that fake smile you always wear.

You have a girl, who loves you.
You have a best friend too.
You're everything to everyone.
I wish you only knew.

You mean a lot to everyone.
I really wish you'd stay.
But if you have to leave us now...
I'll be sure to remember you everyday.

I agree. This is a really loaded piece, and you've sort of told a story with it. Very nicely done!

I definately think you should show the person this poem just so they can see just how special they are to you and everyone else, maybe thats what that one person needs..Great poem..keep em coming!
