I wrote this one off the top of my head too  I lie awake wondering about her Asking myself the question “What if?” What if I had? What if I did? I may never now All I can do is beat myself up For not asking Maybe things would be different Maybe they wouldn’t I may never now But what if I ask now? Maybe things could be different Maybe they wouldn’t All I have to do is fight this fear To break down the wall And ask her "should I smile because we are friends or cry because thats all will ever be?" Good poem although you might want a space before your poem and the first line as it is a little confusing Zu |
