"hey baby come here often?" is what i hear when i walk in the door. why do guys use pick up line? the smell of the cheesy colonge. the ugly 4 piece suit. Why do guys use pick up lines? do you guys know they don't work? "i'm lost take me home with you!" that's a new one. you think you're spiffy. you're not! i like original. "hi" wow! a guy who knows what i like! i sit next to him keeping my fingers crossed. "so do ya come here often?" that's it!no more! Lord I ask this one request. a man you never uses pick up lines! goodness! i'm going to scream. Lord that's all i ask. Robin :P  I AM WHAT I AM SO DEAL! |

Ohhh I so know how you feel about this! Do you know why they're like this? Because guys ARE cheesy. Sorry guys, but you all know you are.  Don't worry. Some of them actually use a decent opening. The worst one I ever heard was "You've got the moves. Do you move like that in bed?" LMAO...aha. One word that springs to mind is dumbass!!!! Ok, enough of this... Makes complete sense....I've never used a pick up line in my life. Well, to be honest with you....I've never really flat out hit on a girl and asked her out. I'm 18 and it's called 'being pathetic' hehe. I liked the poem though....it reaks of truth. I'm a guy, and even *I* get annoyed when I see those lame occurences happen. C'est la vie, no?  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

I gotta tell you, there are better lines out there...I really enjoy the creative ones I know what it is and I take it for that....I just like a guy with the courage to say anything at all.....the really cheesy lines though, don't do it. They have to be good LOL This is a great poem SEA |

I must say I thought by your title that when I read your poem I was going to have to come in here and set the record staight, but didn't because I think that it recognizes that not ALL guys are a like. Awww... Jay, not ALL men are cheesy! *hugs* As to pick up lines, yes they're chessy, and those men who use them seriously to get a girl are plain retarded. However, I always thought guys use pick-up lines to be funny, catch a girl's eye with lame humour, and then pick her up, you know. I mean, if the guy is joking, and he knows the lines are stupid, it makes him a bit endearing... LOL I don't know, just how I see it. I liked the poem, very funny!! This poem is very enlightening and to the point. The guys who use pick up lines, use them because they work. It's like fishing...you're bound to catch one sooner or later. The problem with this is that sometimes the fish you catch, sometimes fins you and the pain can be pretty tough to deal with. So guys watch out because sometimes the hunter is actually the prey and by the time he finds out...it's too late. *It's always good to look at the flip side of the coin* Observe the animals and they shall teach you the nature of life in man. Observe the earth and it shall reveal the nature of life in God. |

I find the most simplest lines to be the funniest.....like...if she's in a buffet line "So, you like eating?"...or if she's at a tattoo parler "so, you like tattoos, eh?" I just find those hilarious. |
