This is my first post, so I'd really like to hear what you think. Forbidden Love All you wnated was friendship, I could have dealt with that, But now I've fallen for you- There is noturning back. My friends all think I'm craxy, Infatuated and obsessed And if my friends had that reaction To you I never thought I would confess. But now that you are leaving And we'll probably never speak again, I find it easier to say, You were more than just a friend. THIS IS A FOLLOW UP TO "FORBIDDEN LOVE"- THE GUY ENDED UP BEING A TOTAL JERK! I knew your intentions From the very start, Yet whenever I was near you All defenses fell apart I knew I had to end it, But lately I have come to find, I can't control my feelings Because my heart controls my mind. And now I miss you though you hurt me, Though you broke my heart in two And even though you lied to me, I still gave my heart to you. You're supposed to be a man, But you're so immature, You played this game with me, And now you're playing it with her. It started out as lying, I didn't think that could be topped, But when you're breaking more than just my heart, That's when it has to stop. |

Hiya Britt, Welcome to Passions!!! You should have posted these a long time ago!! But I'm glad you finally did...You already know what I think about these poems and definitely what I think about Ken. You have no idea how big the desire is to ram a stake through his heart (Oh wait-he doenst have one!). Both of these are wonderful poems, this is an excellent first post. i hope you like it here and i hope you decide to saty for a long time. it sucks that the guy turned out to be a jerk but i'm glad you turned it into beautiful writing keep posting your work.Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |

Welcome to Passions! Wonderful job on the poem....I enjoyed it. Actually there's two.....weird turnabout....from lovy, to just plain get-away-from-me-jerky-boy....i don't know....weird... but anyway, i enjoyed them.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
