the winds blowing
hard...so hard
it cuts through you like a knife
nothing for protection
to cover you from the blows
it whips through the layers
slashing away at the warmth

the winds blowing
cold...so cold
numbing your insides
till theres nothing there
no more warmth, nothing
it whips through too you
slashing away at you

the winds blowing

This was great. I loved the imagery. I especially like wind, so this was a poem I enjoyed quite a lot.
