All smiles through the day
Then the tears come at night,
Thoughts of dying become plentiful
Even though I know it's not right.

No one knows what it's like
To have to live like this,
No one knows what I've been through
As I sit here and reminisce.

I remember the days of young
When I didn't have a care,
But once I reached the "teen years"
I didn't think I'd fare.

They all thought I was cool
But how could they know? They couldn't see,
That they were friends with someone else
And that someone else wasn't me.

I kept trying to form myself
Based on people I'm around,
I wanted to become someone neat,
Someone who they would surround.

But until that day I let myself out
I will continue to cry at night,
Knowing that I shouldn't stay like this
Knowing that it's not right.

Why do you do what u do to me baby...you know if I could I'd do anything for you, please don't ignore me cause you know I adore you

*hug* high skool cliques are harsh. i hope everything goes well for you. u can always talk to me if need be hun.

as for the poem..i thought it was well written. it drew me in and like i could feel your pain...could be cuz we have all been there but it was still good. *Hugs*

I agree with Regina...cliques aren't a part of reality. I hope you can work on your true self through your writing!

so when at times the mob is swayed to carry praise or blame too far, we may choose something like a star

I've definately been through this...done worry hun...keep your head up high and just keep tellin yourself that it HAS to be over someday...and just patiently await that day to come..until then...you will always have us

well, I was part of one though years ago
but hope you look at life as more than just that
