ive always been told ...you can only fly so high ive always been told ...i cant have it all ive always been told ...to do what is right ive always been told ...not to fight all my battles ive always been told ...to believe in what your told ive always been told ...who to believe in ive come to know ...that i can soar as high as i like ive come to know ...i can have whatever i try for ive come to know ...that what you think is right might be wrong ive come to know ...that ill always fight my own battles ive come to know ...to stand up for what i believe in ive come to know ...that i believe in me “A single choice can build destinies,or destroy them.” U in the dark u in the pain u on the run Living a hell living ur ghost living ur hell [This message has been edited by knightlyshadows (edited 05-06-2001).] |

This is very good, Tiff!  I love how you contrasted the two parts of the poem so well to one another, each line had a complimentary one in the second. I love this form of writing, personally, and this is a great example of why!  You are marvelous, Tiffy!  ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |
