The letter I'll never send Would help your heart to mend It would sweetly say That everything's going to be okay And that when you yell at me It's not who you want to be The letter I'll never send Would tell you that this relationship With you is going to bend You don't realize what you do Break my heart in two The letter I'll never send Would explain why you couldn't Be my friend You don't like the way I act But yet I just keep coming back This letter I'll never send Would tell you why I love my boyfriend He means everything to me And that's somthing you can't see If I'm ever scared and sad You don't care, you'll just get mad This letter I'll never send Would explain what We could've been Best friends-that's a laugh Mother pluse daughter, do the math... ~If I had a star for everytime you made me smile, I'd be holding the entire midnight sky in my hands~ |

This was great. I really liked this one. WONDERFUL JOB ON IT! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

lilpoet, I need to ask you a question to understand the poem a little better. Is the poem about your mom being your supposed best friend? I'd appreciate a response...thanks I see no changes, wake up in the morning I ask myself, "Is life worth living or should I blast myself" TUPAC SHAKUR |

This poem is about trying to get along with my mother, and things that cause me not to be able to get along with her. When I said that "we were soposed to be bestfriends" I didn't mean that we had to..it was just an expression. ~If I had a star for everytime you made me smile, I'd be holding the entire midnight sky in my hands~ |

Wow- all I got to say is wow. I know exactly how you feel, this poem hits really close to home with me. Its beautiful. Something exactly what I need to say to my mother, but dont have the guts to. We never talk. I ignore her. But this poem is really effective and captivating. |

The pain from a parent oh so hurtful but a lesson indeed the love she fails to give or the love you fail to show is something that exists she may not show it and you may not either but you do have potential to have a beautiful relationship your mom is a significant part of your life don't spend time worrying about the things that she does or doesn't do to make you mad but the things you love about her I wish I had the opportunity to do the same...but my dad has left and I am only left with my wishes to go back and change the relationship we had and how quickly it fell. Just some thoughts to think about Best wishes ~*~Jessica~*~ *the expected escape is only a portal to true devine Hell...leave that door alone* |
