Struggling
Searching for that string of strength,
That ounce of perspective.
Demons tossing me with full force
Draining motivation,
altering ability
to succeed.

That frail being in the corner
Sinking into the wall,
Yearning to release this brokenness
to vanish
Become unified with this state
of nothing,
of everything.

That stocky giant,
unexplainable outcast,
molding into the chair,
crying with her laugh,
hoping to be recognized.
Insides, outsides
swollen to extremes,
pain corresponding with
this extensive fat tissue...

A dreamer,
unlike the average adolescent creature
Knowing of her her horrible incabability
Knowing of her unique wisdom
Curious about her inaccurate
self hatred
destructs self,
strengthens no one.

I hurt myself today, to see if I still feel. I focus on the pain, the only thing that's real.

Very nice work!  What dark imagery, it made me shiver with delight... I really like the strong and effective emotion you portrayed in this piece, and the way that you layed it all out to a free-versish poem that was formatted by line sizes was really creative and complimented the poem beautifully.
Welcome to Passions in Poetry.  I really look forward to your next post in here!  Have fun reading, replying and sharing with the rest of us!
