"Just be honest!" - Jay, these are great. Light reading and good to see that smiley face tells us you are happy. I was afraid I was going to have to bring out some strippers or something to make you dance around with a monkey. Defriending needs to be made a word. Write to the Oxford people and ask for their opinion. *NOTE: EJ HAS HAD A LOT OF SUGAR* ~AF~ Stupidity killed the cat. Curiosity was framed. |

I love the mathematical equation as a forethought. Here's another. Boredom + a lifetime = many many senryus Boredom + a lifetime + talent = Mr Riverwood And yeah, I write a whole heap of senryus. I really like these, Jay. They rhymed... which I like every now and then in senryus. It adds a neat taste to the format. Great work! ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |

i liked the "crying in the arms of guilt" line in the second senru, i thought that was especially good. bordom can occaisonally produce some good work and i like these two poems a lot. keep posting all your work. Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |

Oh, senryuus! Japanese poetry! They're very good - I like the rhyme scheme, and your word-inventing. "I don't judge people, I just watch them till it's time to look away. I wanna look away now." - Kristin Hersh |

Cute Jay, very cute! And you'd better be happy...or I'll be forced to take drastic measures. BTW... Shakespeare made up words all the time. It's true. "I've come too close to happiness, to have it swept away, don't think I can take the pain, never fall again..." Janet |

I'm pretty near to Oxford and my contacts there say that defriending will be in the next volume. Great poems, I really enjoyed the read. Zu " The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots" -Thomas jefferson |

You know I like poems when I mention food somewhere in them or, not, but hey, they are good poems "Be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle" Plato. |
