Prom Night
May 5, 2001
~~~~~~~~~~~
Long brown hair
In a pile of curls
On top of my head
Long, sparkly blue dress
Touching the floor
Followed by a train
My date’s black tux
Was soon covered in glitter
Just like all my friends
A few candid snapshots
To remember the night
Forever etched in tyme
A dance with him
A touch of the lips
Hanging out with friends
Photos taken
Laughter
Forever in the past
Prom night
Just a memory
With photographs
I'm getting the film developed this weekend, and I'm hoping to get them put on a disk so I can post my favs on here
And Guess what Y'all? It wasn't a prep that got Prom Queen, it was a little disabled girl.   She really deserved it
great poem Tamma.  I'm glad you had a GREAT prom.  We (aka: my junior high) had a dance on the 4th, which was okay, but this guy I thought I liked turned out to be mean. Anyways, great job.
I wish people would stop telling me that I can do anything I want to.  I never thought that I couldn't.
