How did it feel leaving…
The only one you ever had?
The one who broke the lock?
The one who made you glad?

How did it feel leaving…
The girl who held your heart?
The girl who made you happy?
The girl from whom you could not part?

How did it feel leaving…
The “love” you could have known?
The “love that had no chance?
The “love” you did disown?

And for what?
