Okay y'all this is a repost from a while ago but it is my fave out of the ones i have written so i wanted to repost it

                          -=Burned=-

                   Hiding from the sun
                   For fear of getting burned
                   Showing no emotion
                   Beacause of what I've learned
                   My soul is red and welted
                   All because of you
                   I showed you that I cared
                   And got hurt through and through
                   The pain will last a while
                   I can't sleep because it stings
                   Try to push it from my mind
                   And think of other things
                   Friends try to make me laugh
                   But it only works for now
                   Like a sunburn cream
                   A cover will endow
                   When the burn goes away
                   It leaves a nice tan
                   One that shows lessons
                   All for love of one man.

This is really great!! I love the metaphor that you used with the sun, it fits so well and every word within this piece just went so well together. GREAT WORK!! I've never read anything from you before, but I think I am going to have to look for more of your work. This is going into my library for sure. Excellent!
