We all have problems, This we cannot hide. Not one of us perfect, everyone has flaws. No one need to overreact, We'll all be just fine. Let us enjoy everyone's words, And not bicker about triviality. Nobody needs to leave, Or feel unloved. Everyone here is cared for, Nothing will break this apart. * I wrote this because a few members here are going into utter craziness for no real reason. Even though our lives are not perfect, and we've all experienced pain.... there is no need to feel that here. I replied with a similar message below in another thread Jenn ... you're right, it's time to put this behind us. I've been noticing a bit of disharmony lately and noted this in another post. So if you don't mind, I'd like to share a few thoughts with you and everyone here. If any members do have a disagreement, let's be courteous within the poetry forums and take any issues outside through ICQ or e-mail, where you can talk things out reasonably and effectively, or even take it to the "Alley" forum here at Passions ... lots of us complain over there, and have fun at the same time! I truly believe that what we're experiencing here are simply some growing pains. As more and more wonderful poets join our ranks, we all take a little time to get to know one another. There's been a lot of new faces lately, and each and every person is welcome here at Passions. Once in a while, there are minor disagreements, just as there are in life. The fact that we have so many diverse personalities here merely reflects society in general. But here's where we "are" a little different at Passions. Not only are we a community of poets, but we do consider ourselves a "family". Will there be disagreements sometimes? Yes ... Will there be some misunderstandings sometimes? Yes ... Will we all grow and learn from them? You bet! The reason I can say that with confidence, is because I do see a deep sincerity and committment amongst so many of you, to support one another, give caring advice, read and enjoy each other's work, and simply find your own place within this growing family. We are what we make this place everyone, so lets make it the home away from home we truly enjoy. Big group hug everyone ... lets start having some fun! Who's up for a snowball fight! Yea there has been some quarrels here, but nothing we can't overcome.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

Hey girl It's been a while since I've been here I can see that as I expected you're keeping everybody under wraps.  Your words have always come with a great wisdom and insight. I admire that. Sure, the San-Allan thing is at an end... but man, you insulted I-macs... i won't be held responsible for anything that happens to you at the hands of our good friend Dave... or considering his religion, any large feet or hands that come down from the sky to punish you. ~_^ As for the poem, Jenn... I don't think that you really comprehend exactly what was happening, but it's come to a close, i'm happy to report. Still, we gotta worry about Corny Corn... That guy's just looking for trouble... |
