“Gone” Deepest lonely sorrows Upon an endless seas of tomorrows Standing there before my eyes was seen an angel hidden, in disguise She took my heart That day she held my hand I never new life until that day She made me feel, in so many ways She left me alone The light that lit my way was gone Stumbling in the darkness Remembering feelings of bliss No ones fault but my own When fear took hold all was done My angel then returned to her heavenly abode While I am left here completely and utterly alone It's too bad I'm not as wonderful a person as people say I am, because the world could use a few people like that. |

i liked the format of this poem especially, the way you set this up was very interesting to me. great job on this, you captured a lot of feeling in your words. keep posting your work. Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |

This was real sad and I can relate with this one a lot. If anything my whole love life can be summed up by: left to hang dry, left to die. I enjoyed the poem....i know how it feels. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
