i walk two steps behind you always in your shadow always agreeing with you always taking the blame always doing what im told ...this is where i belong? that is what you told me that is what i believed that is what i did that is what i failed ...or did i? i found that i was your equal... better then you in ways. i found that i deserve... my chance in that spotlight. i found that you could be wrong... but so could i at times. i found that it wasnt always my fault... but i can accept it when it is. i found that i have courage... more the i could ever imagine. i found where i belong... and that wasnt with you! “A single choice can build destinies,or destroy them.” |

Whoa nice usage of html! It added a bit of flare to this. I liked it a lot... ~Carly "Your joy is your sorrow unmasked. And the self-same well from which your laughter rises was often-times filled with your tears." ~Kahil Gibran |

Definitely a very impressive poem. It glows with power and rebellion against supression. Excellent sentiments, and the organization and format are all top-notch. Another of your works enters my personal library. ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |

Enjoyable read. Very well done tiff. Hope to see more! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Awesome job with the bold and italics. That gave a nice feel for the poem. Good work! I enjoyed this. Nicely done. --Marie subconsciously, i think i can eat so much to make my stomach hurt, instead of my heart. |
