Alive by day, Dead by night
This how I live my life,
Go to school and be afraid,
Someone might go on a rampage,
The last I know im running down the hall,
BANG BANG!!
I fall to the floor,
Alive by day but I was Dead by nigh.

Just a short piece ya know with all the violence going around.

This is a brilliant poem I really enjoyed it!  I like the concept and also the language makes it a brilliant read.  Interesting, intriguing and inspiring!

I enjoyed this. it had some good thoughts.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily

Good poem, Branden.  Unfortunately, this is something that's a terrifying reality..
Thanks for sharing.

Great way to express your opinions on this subject matter Branden.  You did really good on this one.  Hope poems like this would open one's eyes after reading

So long lives this, and this give life to thee."  W.S.
