poet of life, weep not this day
for soon the star will come
that will brighten your way
the star that you have sought
for your whole life long
that one star will come
when she hears your song

it's a song that you've sung
since the beginning of life
a song to find one
who will end your strife
but you've sung for so long
you feel that none hear
your heart still wishes for one
for one to hold dear

poet of life, I know your pain
for I too once thought
there would always be rain
but I learned that after the storm
there soon came the sun
it was then that I found her
my heart's only one

so poet of life, weep not this day
for soon her star will come
to brighten your heart's way
the star that you have sought
for your whole life long
her bright star will come
when she hears your heart's song

This is beautifully done, your words truly stir the soul.  anyone would be honored to have a piece like this written for them.

How beautifully you have written of our friend, Sven. I love that you've brought your talents here to the teen forum. Can't wait to see who you describe next!

Erica's cute when she drops hints.
Well Sven, I must say I enjoyed this a great deal.  Could you offer me some insight in the process of writing one of these, what steps you take to make each one of them so very personal?  I'm very interested.
This did seem to describe Acire for me... Poet of life, without a wife.
Very well done.  He's a great guy, our Acire.

Sven, wonderful job on this one about Acire! I enjoyed it completely! You truly are a generous poet to be writing about other people here at Passions!
Once again, simply wonderful. Very touching!

What have I done to deserve such gracious, poetic, words.  I'm totally speechless Sven.  Thanks so much.  I really appreciate the kind thoughts you've shared with me.  Again, I would like to thank you. Just made my day
