Hey everyone. Will you guys please tell what you think of this poem i worte for my best friend that is moving at the end of the school. Please tell what you think of it. Please repely.

My best friend moving away.
I try so hard not to think of it
but when I do
I try so hard not to cry.
You are my best friend
and now your moving away
from the people who love
and care for you.
All I know is the day that you go
there will be tears in my eyes,
because you are my best friend.
I just don't know what I'm going
to do without you
It's going to hard to know
that you are not here.
How can I look out my window
And know that you are not there?
But when you do leave.
I will always remember
ther fun times we had,
everything you have done
to help me, and how you
were a true friend to me.

I really enjoyed this piece! Very heart-wrenching, what an experience it must be. I remember having a friend move away, it's not a lot of fun at all. But wounds heal, and now we have things like the internet to keep us alive.

I'm sure you won't lose touch.

it shown ur emotions toward ur friend in a nice way ..

Welcome to Passions. You had a great first post. Take Allans advice too. Reply to as many as you can. Also, visit the Teen Explorer forum to get to know everyone here in teen better. I look forward to more poetry from you!

This is a very well written poem! It's a very hard situation, and I'm sorry you're put in it. But absense is what makes the heart grow fonder. If the friendship is meant to be, then you and she will stay very good friends despite any distance that's put in between you. If it's not, then it won't. I'm sure that everything will work out for the best.
Again, very nice poem. I enjoyed the read. And welcome to Passions. This is a very good first post, I'm looking forward to seeing more.

I believe your friend would love this. Not only that, I too believe that you are doing things the right way by showing her that you will always remember the good times. You're lucky the internet has gone this far. Maybe you 2 should go NetMeeting. Beautiful tribute to your friend.
