*This isnt really one of my best poems...but its how I am feeling so I decided to post it*

Just forget it
Just forget it is what I said
Just forget it is what I mean.

Forget the way we were
Forget the way we are
Forget the way you held me
Forget the way you kissed me
Forget the way we laughed and even
the way we cried.
Forget the endless nights of talking and all the things you promised.

Forget the way I loved you with everything I had.

Forget the gifts you gave me and the all the lies you fed.
Forget the powerful friendship.

Forget the first embrace.

Forget the first kiss in the snow and the last kiss in the rain.

In fact I wish you would just finally forget me

To know that this means nothing to you at all,
to know I have given you my heart and soul.
I thought would help me forget,
but it hasn’t;
not a lot
not a little
not even at all.

Very sad piece here. I hope all is ok.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I really love the use of line breaks in this poem.  In fact I thought it was genius some of the lines you chose to separate from the rest... very very well done.

When painful things happen, sometimes it helps to just forget, but other times it's important to remember.  Whichever one it is, I hope that you figure it out and are able to do it.  Good luck, and good job on this piece.
