Standing In Silence...

0 posted 2001-04-25 05:26 PM

A lay here thinking about you,
I begin to daydream.
I dream about your deep brown eyes,
You appeared in my thoughts in a cloud of steam.

You stepped out of the cloud,
like a heavenly angel would.
If only I could tell you how I feel,
I wish that at least I could.

But as you stand there smiling, I can't help but wonder,
Do you really love me?
Or do just put up with the constant chatter?
Or maybe our love may one day actually be?...........

I liked this poem....not my fav by you, but nonetheless a good poem. I enjoyed it.

This sounds like a really confusing situation you are in how. You describe it well, and I just hope that sharing this helped you out some. I hope things get better for you. Thanks for sharing.

Tough spot to be in, I can relate.  Sometimes we feel we aren't quite enough to be loved (or whatever we may feel) and that the person is just putting up with us for some reason.  It's not a happy thought, but it does pass.
Best of luck.

Aww, this is a very nicely written poem.  I really enjoyed the read.. I hope things get better for you, though.  Hang in there.

WOW!!! ~*applauds*~

I am amazed by your ability to write, and I love most specially the last lines.  That is what romance is made out of.
