She left... |

She left the window opened slightly. A playful draft tugged at the shades. She said her farewells rather dryly. She left. She left me at the gates. Her eyes contained a hint of anguish. They glowed with mystical appeal. I helped her pack and now she vanished. She left. She left me standing still. She had to... Yes, I heard her reasons! And yet, it hurt to watch her leave. The golden dust arose in distance. She left. She left me here in grief. My head had rested on her shoulder As though upon a guillotine. This was the fate I couldn’t alter,-- She left. She left me with a grin. She took my heart into possession. So quickly, to escape the theft, She left without my concession. I’ll trace her by the scent she left. |

I enjoyed this! I haven't seen you in a while and when I saw the post I made sure i'd get to it before the night ended. I really thought you did well on this one. Hope to see you post more! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Good job on this one, Master. I must say I am developing an appreciation for your overall style, and I look forward to your next post. ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |
