Fading Away

Never has a laugh touched my heart, Like a soft caress from a lovers hand. Never a smile lighted my way as life closes in around me. Wrapped secure in your passion I sigh and snuggle deeper into your heart. Safe and warm, I feel your rich voice wash over this tired soul. Healing the hurts, renewing my spirit. Secure in your love, I rest... --Marie subconsciously, i think i can eat so much to make my stomach hurt, instead of my heart. |

Hey, This is absolutely superb as most all of your works are, the guy you are talking about oh and Allan before I forget who said it was for “Ben” hrm could have been about me hahaha. Anyway back to the poem its great and will grace the top spots of my library as all of your work does. Until your next poem "Once you reach your original goal it seems that the journey was your real accomplishment." |
