The one that kills
your spirit

The aching that crushes
your soul

The pain that lingers
always with you

The unchangeable mistake
has been made

Regret now eats at you
well-being surpressed

Regret is a horrible feeling, and you really describe this well. I really like the structure of this piece, the italics really emphisize the right parts. Wonderful work!

Very nice work, Jenn!  I really liked this a lot.  The italics were very well placed.  Good job!

Well said Jenn...
I truely believe regret is the worst feeling in the world.

I hope future regrets are minimal.

Simple but very meaningful Jenn.  I'll have to agree with you on that.  regret does eat into your heart and soul.  thanks for the read

Ooh... this really bit into me.  The italics did wonders for the feel of the words, excellent job.
