I wear this mask of happiness
to conceal my pain and lonliness
Although no mask is strong enough
To hold together the gragile pieces
Of my messed up life
Because no one will understand
Who wants to deal with the pain
Of someone else when they
Don't even get their own?

as u go in life there will be ur hardships it is up to u if it makes u or breaks u.

This is the second poem I read from you, and again I know what you mean about a showing happiness and concealing my sadness. Good job with this.

Give her two red roses, each with a note. The first note says "For the woman I love" and the second, "For my best friend."

It's too bad that you have to feel this way...
One thing I'd like to comment on is your icon.   .  Pertaining to your name... it looks the opposite of "sleepy" if you ask me.

LOL, Allan... cute.
I liked this a lot.  I think many people feel that they have to have that mask with them.  Learning to live without it is the hardest thing.. I'm sorry that you feel you need that mask.  It's not a comfortable feeling... *hugs*
Nice work.

I liked this. It had some thoughts that I relate to very much

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily
