what if I failed.. would you appreciate it more? what if I stopped.. would you realize I tried before? would you remember the times when it was taken all for granted? how about the times, you had to make sure it never lasted? know now that it’s over yes, you made me give it away the way I wanted things.. things for which I had to pay don’t worry now, mother it’s all too late for regrets why, even if you had listened.. I’d still have found my lively debts what if I begged.. would you decide to come through? what if I kneeled.. would that be too real for you? what if I cried to you, mom.. would you feel any remorse? oh silly me.. No, of course. *The hardest thing to do is watch the one you love, love somebody else.* |

Oh... so very interesting, this one. Really made me tilt my head and smile. Excellent work. ~Allan Build a man a fire, and he's warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. |

All the poems today are really making me think! I liked this, silvr. It was interesting. It made me sit back and read it again. Nicely done, here --Marie subconsciously, i think i can eat so much to make my stomach hurt, instead of my heart. |

Parents parents parents... I can really relate to this one. I'm sorry that you didn't have a good relationship with her, but you write about this very well. Thanks for sharing. "Men judge generally more by the eye than by the hand, for everyone can see and few can feel."-Machiavelli |

Do you have a bad relationship with your mother? I understand how you feel, if you do. Well, it was a great poem. Keep writing! *~*Amanda*~* |
