lost within my mind

0 posted 2001-04-21 10:17 PM

define me
tell me what i am and what goes on inside my head
am i crazy?
am i insane?
is there a difference?
insanity is doing the same thing twice, and expecting different resuts
that was probably said by some freud wanna-be at a press conference to sound cool.
i bet everyone was impressed.
such bull.
whos wierder?
the one who fears death
or the one who begs for it to come prematurely
whos more pathetic?
the one who gave up
or the one who tried to help a worthless cause
whos smarter?
one who knows everything, but understands nothing
or
the one that understands everything, but knows nothing.
whos prettier?
the one who doesnt look it, but feels it
or the one that looks it, but doesnt feel it
who has more hate
the one who hurts others
or the one that hurts themself
whos more sincere
the one that lies well, but says what wants to be heard
or the one that tells the truth, but says what no one wants to hear
whos crazier
the one you can see, and understand
or the one in the shadows, that you fear

A.K.S.
"Never fear something, just because you don't understand."

I thought this was great! wow....very well done.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

This is great, I insist that everyone who read this read it a second time over.  It's different once you know where it's headed, a lot more revalations are made about it.
Keeping in mind the title, as the poem changed, I must say this was a real thinker that got my brain running.     Well done!

I liked this a whole lot!  It really got me thinking.. These are very well thought-out thoughts, if that makes any sense.  Very nice work.
