This is simple and we wouldn't want to take all you time, so if you can plese give us your vote, we'd appreciate it.

In light of the "chat threads" in the teen explorer forum(which was actually meant to be a poetry mentor/help forum), we would like to ask you this question.

Would you rather have a:

1) teen discussion forum
2) a poetry/critique/mentor forum
3) or both

Thanks for your participation

i want both, b.c you express your feelings through poetry (or atleast i do) and with that you can discuss stuff, but i think if you use it as a message board type thing all ehll might break lose  lol...j.p, but you may find alot of questions that we may not want in passions...anyways..hope i helped!

Teen discussion forum.  We, as teens, are in a stage of our lives where we find that communication with one another is very important.  We are all learning a lot about ourselves and developing, and I see it as a great idea to have a place where teens can gather and just discuss topics they see fit, or even have a little bit of fun.  It's somewhat more comfortable to speak in the company of people in the same age group as you, after all.

My vote is for 1.

My vote is for discussion.  Mentor/Critique stuff, in my opinion, can be done on personal time with close friends or family who know you best.

Teen discussion.....I think us teens need a place to talk since the only way we can on here is in replies. Remember the Yellow Snowball fight? well that was great but it had to be in reply format only. kinda sucked. well anways....discussion

I'll take number 1. But if we could have both then I choose both.

Give her two red roses, each with a note. The first note says "For the woman I love" and the second, "For my best friend."

I have to say both.  I express a lot of feelings through my poetry and talking really helps.  And you can still critique, just like we have done here.

I like number 1 the best.  I think the teens need a place to just discuss whatever and know that we're just getting teen feedback.

Let me add to this:

What kind of critique/exploration forum would you like? We have the Poetry Workshop available if you want to improve the way you write.

When we started the Teen Explorer forum, there were few poets who wanted to have their work dissected for discussion.

So, if you voted for two forum, what would you like to gain from the 'non-discussion' forum?

Frankly we can have our work critiqued in the CA forum....or here in Teen #4 if we ask for it from our friends.....
I think the teen explorer has become one of my favorite stops during my scheduel here at Passions.

My vote: NUMBER 1

i would go wit #1.
but i belive if its 4 the better of the teen explorer i would go wit the both coz y not share r opinions of each others disscussions
as that would be great alone....
but we can also share poetry (again!!) as not jus with the good thoughts or bad thoughts on the poem
but 4 those who wants a depth in critism from teens..u knoe? and also i want 2 comment on those that u say recieves criques thery're not the only one trying to get better every poet is... as great poets write great poems sometimes good poems and also bad poems as we all aren't perfect so we all in the same path in getting better which is endless..but yea...anyways i go 4 both..
but i would be alright wit the teen discussion...
its a great idea...

I'd like to mention to all of the people who said they "want" a discussion place... go to Teen Explorer now if you like.  At the moment we are already taking it to the level of discussion.  This survey is just to make things official.

Well, seems like everyone wants the discussion forum.

You have to remember, the teen discussion forum would be like a teen chat forum.  Just like the alley in the discussion forum.

I feel both because during my short time at Passions I have learnt lots of things from the teens and by encouraging critiques so I would say have both.  I am a teen but I feel that having both forums would help me to expand in mind and improve my poetry by discussing with many other poets!
