The war begins, The first lesson was learned, Time for the second. The second page has turned, The war rages, Students of war, how we yearned, For our time to kill. The third page is turning, The war fading, Lessons lost, now re-learning, Students of war are gone. It can't be! |

Its painful to see young ones die. Good poem. Give her two red roses, each with a note. The first note says "For the woman I love" and the second, "For my best friend." |

"How we yearned for our time to kill" This is quite an interesting line because it shows me 2 meanings. Their time to kill and help their country win the war but also time to kill the war, making the world peaceful. Keep up the good work I thoroughlry enjoyed this poem!! Truly appreciative ^*~Kicking Kim~*^ |

Great poem kosetsu!!! I liked it. Very good message within the poem. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
