How do you stop loving someone
you never really had?

How do you convince your heart
loving him is bad?

How do you understand words
that were never said?

How do you erase the memories
that never were made?

How do you stop the feelings
even when he's gone?

How do you make your heart
stop calling his name?

How do you stop loving someone
who although he said so little
managed to say everything
you ever needed to hear?

How do you stop loving something
after it is gone?

I really liked this poem it was powerful, and it made me sad. I know how you feel and my only advice is to keep your head held high.

Give her two red roses, each with a note. The first note says "For the woman I love" and the second, "For my best friend."

Oh, this poem definitely hit a personal spot with me.  You expressed a lot of feeling in this piece, it's absolutely superb.  I'm very glad to see you posting in here again.

I thought this poem rocked. Very well written and your thoughts flowed like water. Nicely done!

Beautiful poem!  You expressed yourself very clearly.  I haven't seen much of your writing here, so I look forward to reading more.
Good job.

I advise you never to stop loving, but just to stop...obsessing, I guess. You're prolly not obsessed with da peep but yeah.   There's no rule that says you can't love something that's not there..Keep dat head up and keep writing these great poems.

It's too bad I'm not as wonderful a person as people say I am, because the world could use a few people like that.

What hit me about this poem was the word choice.  Good job.   I wish I could answer that question, but alas i'm only an ignorant teen.

*SNIFF SNIFF* Oh, wow. I think I'll say that again: OH, WOW!!! I don't know why I think I'm the only one in the world hurting right now, but before I read that, I thought that no one knew what I'm going through. Excellent writing, and what a way to get your thoughts/feelings out! I wish I could express my thoughts/feelings like you expressed them for me. Oh wow oh wow oh wow! Don't stop writing at all, okay? Wowowowowowow!!!!
