"Many Different Faces"

Tripping over the mess that I've made
Trying to clean it up but don't know where to begin
All of my disguises lying everywhere
I don't know where they end

I'm driving myself into destruction
As I'm lying in my grave of mixed up faces
Trying to grab my freedom when it is out of reach
And the world keeps moving at to many different paces

At times its easy to be myself
Other times I find it better to be someone else
Just another story of Jekyll and Hyde
I feel like I am in a million different types of hells

The magic is in the make-up
Trying to take it off one layer at a time
Revealing myself makes me cry
And it feels like I'm going down that same old line

They say take it one step at a time
But me of corse I'd much rather take two
This time I'm not going to trip
And I'm going to start over nice and new

I liked this one a lot, one of your better ones, I think. Is this in Dewitt's too? If its not, it should be.

I'll agree with Carly, this is definitely a very good work. I haven't seen as much of your work as has she, so I can't exactly make any conclusions. But you are a wonderful poet, and I really enjoy your work.

I liked this one soooooooo much!!!!!!! I think this poem is sooooo true!! It relates a lot to me and im shur to many other people. Great job!!!!!
