Treading adrift in the stirring of snow Out of my kingdom, and out of its clutch Snowscreen so heavy, and keeping me low Snowscreen so heavy, and warm to the touch Treading, a face in the ocean of sheep Walking against their progressive advance Biting my fingers to blood, as they sleep Biting my fingers, these victims of chance Treading away on my hands and my knees Lifting my eyes as the snowscreen allays Smelling perfume as it floats on the breeze Smelling perfume, as it dances and plays Crawling, without any pride or remorse Seeking the one that I smell and I feel Clutching the lover, deterring my course Clutching her close to my body of steel Stroking her skin, so romantic and bleak Into her face, my despondency drips Tasting compassion, so warm on my cheek Tasting compassion, so cool on my lips Treading adrift in the stirring of snow Out of my kingdom, and into her clutch Hold me so tightly, I'll never let go Hold me so tightly, I love you so much [This message has been edited by Allan Riverwood (edited 04-13-2001).] |

VERY impressive, Allan. I really loved this one... my favorite in the series (are you really surprised?). The flow was wonderful, and the emotions really grab you. Great work, pal! "Men judge generally more by the eye than by the hand, for everyone can see and few can feel."-Machiavelli |
