Sometimes I ask the question "why?" Yet the question, never answered. In absence of an answer, the answer Emerges yet another question of why? -- Linc I wrote this one just contemplating the purpose of life. Not just my life but life in general. Its quick, short, and I liked it so I posted it. Thanks for taking the time to read even my crapy work "Who the hell cares?" [This message has been edited by Linc (edited 03-31-2001).] |

Hey Linc... I have a question about your poem. Is the third line meant to be "In absence of an answer, the answer" or "In absence of an answer, the answer"? This would change the meaning... both ways though, it arouses a few questions. Or should I say, a few answers? ~Allan The sun was born, so it shall die. ~VNV Nation, "Further" [This message has been edited by Allan Riverwood (edited 03-31-2001).] |

Yet another question...yet another answer. You may see it as you like for my poetry is to be read as the reader wishes to read it not as the poet ment it to be read. If that makes any sense. yet another question why are all questions responded with a question? DOMN these question.... -- Linc "Once you reach your original goal it seems that the journey was your real accomplishment." |

Why is certainly one of the most important questions one can ask. Good job on a thought provoking poem. Sometimes, the things that go unsaid are the only things worth hearing. |

This is great... very short, and very good. It raised questions in my mind. Keep posting! --Marie It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. |
