Val, you're gonna think this is so sweet, so you just go up to Frank and yell at him for never writing you a peom or 5! lol And Dani, there are more coming, you just wait :-) Talking to you is constant bliss It always makes me want to say this “Wow, you’re just so beautiful, to you I always feel dutiful I want to light up your life As you do mine!” And when we are silent And there’s nothing that’s violent I can’t help but think “You must be a dream” When I know you’re watching I envision us talking And it hurts that it’s not real But we have enough time I long for our fleeting times alone I would work my hands to the bone Because to bask in your presence: There’s just nothing else for me You are just perfect! Always speaking your mind And these days, common sense Just tends to be hard to find Also you make me pay attention I don’t know what you do But I always hang on your every word When given a reason to In every blink of my eye There’s a hidden sight It shows me your radiant glow That oh so perfect light If only just to be close I would go anywhere Hoping to hold you And see that you care And when I walked out the door On you my thoughts dwell And all I want to do Is walk back in and tell Tell you how much I want to stay To talk to you longer and longer And to let you know exactly How your very being makes me stronger Deeper than any gemstone, ever to be cut Your eyes have more places to get lost I want to know, every crevice of them They make me freeze in place, like frost One day, holding all your best qualities on my eyes And holding you as my heart to me cries “Tell her all of it, then go for a kiss and if you succeed, don’t ever forget the bliss” "Some men see things as they are and say why. this was soooooo good!! i just might have to go beat up Frank for not saying something like that. but he's said some sweet stuff, but nothing in a poem, or anything he wrote himself. he's not that type, but Danielle is lucky you are! Hey I thought the title completely rocked. THe poem wasn't half bad either......It wasn't to my preference in the form you expressed it, but hey. Anyhow, the message was pretty great.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |
