Have You Thought Of Me Lately? By: Noah Eaton 1/25/01 I don’t know if you can hear me, but I love you When we may finally meet each other, I have no clue I can’t help but thinking with a heart that at night feels like summer in Phoenix and in the day could feel like winter in Duluth If you have been thinking of me Mottled in naked thoughts before I fall asleep Moistened in mother-of-pearl wax, as I softly breathe I can’t help but sadden up when I wonder where you are, and I weep Lonely tears fall down my plush jaded cheeks as I wonder if you have been thinking of me Oh God, should I be feeling this way now I will find you, my love, somehow I can’t stop thinking about it, that’s the problem I know someone should be out there, but I need a sign of this love I dream of this garden under the cottonwood and sycamore trees Laying in my heartstrings hammock, as I feel your words touch me in the shamrock breeze I would share all my hearts garden with you, you are everything to me I look up at ringing clouds of light gyrate, wondering if you’ve been thinking of me Wallflowers of truth strangle times doorknob of the door to loves mystery I try to pull them away, but endlessly grows this cryptic spiritual weed Have I made this seem harder than it already is, maybe? I know it’s not healthy, but I can’t stop thinking if you have been thinking of me I do the best I can not to worry about it I have plenty of fun, never want to miss a single minute Still this thought runs through my head, one all so romantic I would be happy just knowing if you have been thinking of me lately Porcelain rose of an angels grove stretches in my feathered iris Vanilla mushroom cloud breathed from it’s serene kiss The flower from a love out there, a beauty I can’t resist Have you been thinking of me too? Oh love, if only I could hear you from here, I will continue to try All I need to know is if you’ve been thinking of me, so I know you’re alive Oh love, how I want you so, how I long to love you, and be set free You’re on my mind all the time, have you been thinking of me lately? |
