I'm sorry to see, you don't want to want me. Scattered by seperate- it doesn't feel right. I can't speak or breathe, can't even write. I'd prefer to cry quiet, let lonely lie. Smiling when you're near- can't let lonely reflect your eyes. I'm bent over, doubled, my head left reeling. Unable to stand, consumed by that metaphysical feeling. I stood amazed when that unnatural dreamscape invaded. It felt more the right kind of real than reality ever did. My hands are shamed, I have nothing to offer but myself. Would it be enough to share all I've ever wanted, wished, and felt? I've spent my love on chasing away my sorrows. Trying to build for myself a better tomorrow. I want to make sure sad comes with the ability to forget, So when I spend forever I won't recognize regret. I'm sorry if sometimes I seem callous, You have to understand how often my heart has met with pain and malice. Cold is more a reflex, not so much a wish, But when devious dissapated, no one rekindled warmth at the finish. I'm not laying blame, my life is my own to make. But I'm a creature of habit and they can be so hard to break. It only goes so far, such things as love and fate. When opportunity presents itself, you have to take the bait. 'Cause I have this dream I refuse to let die. And if you don't want a part, maybe you'd see more fit to let lonely lie. This is a great way to use your 200th post. This is a wonderful piece, in spite of the sadness. I'm glad to see that you are willing to go on with your dream, although you will have to leave this person behind. Thanks for sharing. Not only is this a great poem,I hate to see it go away with only one post. I have a slow computer and when I do get into passions I mostly read the first page and I would imagine that its the same for more than just me so those that get missed go to the bottom of the list. So for that reason and the fact that this is a very nice write,Im sending this back to the top. Mr.Magoo [This message has been edited by Mr.Magoo (edited 01-23-2001).] |

This is sad but oh so cool, the way you expressed it all. I loved it! Cool title also. Sauni Sauni :) Have you ever known the color grey when the nighttime finds you weak I have, I've walked that road each time; that's where my angel sleeps |

Don't sweat it! I'll always have my head in the clouds. "We're dealing with a dreamer here- totally detached from reality..." Thanks so much everybody. "Hearts will become practical when they make them unbreakable" ~The Wizard of Oz Much love all, Krissie |

And if you don't want a part, maybe you'd see more fit to let lonely lie. ======================================== Wonderful way to wrap up the thoughts and the sadness in this one. Though this was a sad piece it is also one of much wisdom. Loved the read. If you find yourself stranded in a storm ...then reach for my hand and we will play in the puddles together |
