I See I see joy in desolation I see freedom in a cage I can feel a sweet sensation When the waters churn in rage I see lily’s petal turning Down her lip to meet the light I can see the fires burning In dark corners of the night There’s a way to see contentment Etched within an orchid’s eye I can filter out resentment With a simple lullaby All it takes is clean white paper And a tranquil place to think I can conjure any caper With a pen and flowing ink I can see a teardrop falling Gently from an orchid’s eye I can hear you softly calling Through the mist of morning sky Elizabeth Santos |

Liz, I agree. You certainly can capture any caper with your paper and pen...and you do it better than anyone. |

How pleasant to read. An optimistic and hopeful outlook shrouds darkness and leaves the light of confidence to greet the new day. |
