The Shores of Alone

I would be as a warm
perfumed moonbeam
floating to earth
glowing ever brighter
as your arms surround me.

I would be your dancer
naked in the moonlight
haunting, beautiful
bathed in shadows
and surreal love games.

I would be your haven
wherein you could be sheltered
from the chill night air
with the increasing
warmth of my love.

I would be all of these to you
and so much more
that remains un-conceived
while I wait for you
to let me...

My opinion.......write as YOU write always and you cannot fail.  I truely enjoy reading your works whether they be happy or sad or just about life in general.  The only thing I can offer is "Don't forget to smile when they take your picture for the biography and make sure you send an autographed copy my way.    I know.....a cowboy's way of trying to get a free copy.  Your get published, I will buy it. Promise!!!

BTW.......I would leave this one as is.  It is wonderfully presented and it's beauty doesn't need to be refined at all.

This is a beautiful piece. I love the flow. I hope that this person lets you be all these things to them soon. I don't have any corrections or anything for you, it looks great to me!

Beautiful poem indeed.

A wait that seemed to last forever
from a qickened beat of heart
to the slow breath of a sigh
to the everlasting moment of a kiss
a love awaits anxiously
frozen in time

lost in thought, found in words.

I really liked this one Sandra. . . I like the form that you used here. . . what you would be if only you were allowed to be. . . the waiting of it all. . .

It's perfect. . . just send me a copy!!
