On the shores of La Jolla I tasted salt on your lips and sand on your neck as a symphony of crashing waves played in the background and we danced closer to the edge. You spun me around and we fell in the sand your kiss warmed my silent soul until it sang to a new level vibrating in time with the water-and your heartbeat. Joined, we became a force nearly as awe inspiring as the ocean itself. Magic encircled us and we drew our names in the sand. The tide repeated to me our litany of love which had begun so long ago: Yes Yes we are one with the water, the sand and the sun. Yes Yes we are one with each other, the love, it is done... |

Beautiful, sensual write! I so love the beach, thanks for the trip there. Although, that's the only part of this piece I can truly relate to on the beach, itself. ;o} |

I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought. ~Shakespeare~ |

'Joined, we became a force nearly as awe inspiring as the ocean itself. Magic encircled us and we drew our names in the sand.' Wonderful write, Sandra! The beach is my favorite place to be, and to reminisce about, even if it does make me melancholy, like the ending of your poem. I love this! sp I won't go, I won't sleep, I can't breathe until you're resting here with me... |

Catalina, The memories of SD will always stay in your heart. And I'm sure in his, too. A beautiful read. Put it in the book... Love, Elise |

wonderful Sandra. . . what memories the night holds for everyone. . . -------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
