A deaf Beethoven wrote some of his most sublime melodies that only he could hear. Could it not also be that from some unusual endowed child who is physically distraught or ill, we can learn a few secrets of human existence..? I don’t know who it was that said that a man's worth is not to be measured by his emotional state, but by the way he faces death. What then of your child who died in an unfamiler state..? Loss is loss, recovery & healing I guess is when we die within our selves, but I still don't understand it. for my caring friend Marty... ~ [This message has been edited by lucky (edited 01-21-2001).] |

Well done, my dear friend, well done poem! Yes, we all experience losses in life, but we all experience hope and faith from those losses also. This is a great poem for your dear friend Marty, my friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Dale--I think sometimes how brave my Michelle was to die...so young and vulnerable, yet so brave, and yes, she dies many times in me again and agian, but is reborn with love and light...and has taught me many valuable lessons. Hugs to you Dale for seeing the value. (and that other little girl that was me, she learned too) |

Nice write, guess that age-old question will be a long time in the answering, yet. Liked the way you phrased it though... jwesley |
