Such sweet dreams come to visit me at night As my head on the pillow seems oh, so light My mind is full of so many good things Like friendship and love And birds in my garden that sing So peaceful am I as my dreams come to me But tonight who will know where they will take me? To the beautiful blue sea? Where the gulls they roam free To my garden of paradise? Such a wonderful place to be Or will I be in your arms? Close to heaven I am there As you look into my eyes And seduce me with your stare Such a place do I only find in dreams But, oh so close do you really seem As your hand touches my face Around my lips you do trace I have fallen into a trance As we move together in love's dance Such a dream feels so right But only lasts through the night Until the dawn breaks free And you're no longer with me My dreams have come to an end After all the love you did send Now my day starts with a smile As I think of you all the while Suetang |

Suetang, How does that go, "..a dream is a wish your heart makes..." I think your poem says it much better. Hold the thought. Bob |

Such a place do I only find in dreams But, oh so close do you really seem As your hand touches my face Around my lips you do trace I have fallen into a trance As we move together in love's dance They can be so very real.....sometimes I hate it when I awake...especially if it's a dream like this one! Good writing! |
