Oh dear teach Please believe me when I say "A crocadile ate my work Just the other day" I wouldn't tell a lie Not to you dear Sir A crocadile really ate my work Cross my heart hope to die He came into my bedroom Crawled along the floor Climbed up on my desk Just started to explore He came across my homework Which I had put much effort to Began to read aloud My work I'd done for you Then when he had finished He opened his mouth real wide in a sudden down his throat my work began to slide He then turned to me and said "boy, your teacher would be proud Your work was outstanding You'd stand out in a crowd" Without a second glance He walked straight out the door All my hard work and effort I now receive no score My teach did not believe me When I said a crocadile ate my work That crocadile was so mean He really was a jerk  |
