Sometimes it’s hard to laugh when I just need to cry. Sometimes it’s hard to live when I just want to die. Sometimes I feel alone, nowhere to hide. Sometimes I feel trapped by the memories inside. Sometimes I say I hate because I’m scared to care. Sometimes I run because I’m scared to be there. Sometimes I fail because I’m scared to try. Sometimes I drown because I’m scared to fly. Sometimes I get tired of being afraid. Sometimes I scream at the mistakes I made. Sometimes it’s hard to make it through. Sometimes it hard to be there for you. Sometimes it’s good but mostly its bad. Sometimes I’m happy but life makes me sad, And so, sometimes, I hurt myself, yet, you still see, The very best part of me. |

K2001, Welcome to Passions, it's good to have you here. What I find most stirring about this poem is your ability to identify and express emotional cause and effect. That is something that some folks work very hard at and still struggle with. Bravo for this!
