~For Daryl~ Skies of blue and pots of gold Beyond the rainbow's end Are just some of the things I'd give you If I could, my friend. I would ensure your happiness Would last through all your days And in the sky, the sun would shine On you with gentle gaze. If at all possible, I would Do all these things for you To make your life a pleasant one And show my friendship true. But as I have no power Over these things, none at all- I'll just extend my hand to you To help you when you fall. I have an ear to listen Should one you ever need- Anytime, I'm here for you For I'm your friend, indeed.
