You come and stay for a while; you have always been there. You are confident, wise, and proud, throughout life an achiever. Then the frightened one comes. Now the fifteen year old, energetic, silly, spontaneous, full of fun and spunky, they say. She leaves, the scared one returns, but does not come as often now. The wise and fun ones unite to guide, riding the troubled waters without succumbing, to the one deeply scarred and afraid. Waiting for all of them to become known, so the separated parts can be laced together. Hope bounces forth like a new flower, springing up where once it was barren. As memories surface from hiding places, to comprehend and awake in the bright sunshine, clinging delightfully to the light. Red [This message has been edited by Red-uni (edited 03-19-2001).] |
