~*~ Spirit Of The Moon ~*~

The sky is painted by the palette of a Master,
Evening falls and awakens the magical hours.
I breathe in the day, remembering how I was soothed.
Drenched in the sensuous curves of life’s landscape.
Protectively, Mother Nature holds me gently to her trunk,
As I watch feathery, soft clouds that journey to nowhere.
How long have I waited to think these words?
How long have I waited to hear the notes of this song?
My spirit guides my thoughts to love and peace.
I push back my hair and just feel each gentle breeze.
I hear the soft rustling of the leaves.
Feel the warmth of the sun on my skin,
The whispers of the coolness of the wind.
My eyes drink in the reflection of the heavens on the sea,
Bringing peace and serenity to my mind and soul.
These are the magical hours with no rhythm or rhyme.
Saturated in the beauty of creation around me.
I see the magnitude of all things graced by his touch.
I stand in awe that I am one within his creation.
I am but the trees, birds, mountains, the sun, moon and stars.
I am all colors, shapes, sizes, and part of a his master plan.
Evening falls and I am one with the Spirit of the moon.

How long have I waited to hear the notes of this song?"

How many have wondered the same thing? I love how you describe your thoughts on it all...

Love it!!

Splendid interpretation of the painting. Very refined and elegant style.
Thank you.

Sunshine: Thank you - I like to think I am!

KitKat: I really enjoy my "bells & whistles" but sometimes wonder if they get in the way, but figure ah what the heck, I am not that good so that is when my marketing skills kick in.

Ethome: You know there is nothing in God's earth like a Canadian sunset, and I have an unobstructed view of his work, so I am very fortunate; I just wish I could paint! Hey, but then again I have never tried, maybe I will! Thank you for your kind words.

Coyote: With a name like yours, I wish you would give it a stab, take the drawing and write on it and see what you come up with. You live in one of the most beautiful states, in my opinion. Thank you.

Bill Charles: You are too kind, I am waiting to see what some that really know our spirit world come up with using this graphic, but I thank you kind sir!
