Have A Nice Day

So this is how it feels to love somebody and still be all alone.
You knew I wanted to love you but how can I when your're gone.
It's not your fault if you didn't fall in love with me.
Only you know your desires and only you can gain or miss this golden opportunity.
So if I should fall in love foolishly with someone that cares not for me
the pain must be mine alone to bear.
I do not expect you to come rushing to me and soothe my broken heart.
Your never cared for me before so you have no reason now to start.
I am the one having a problem dealing with the consequences of a love that failed.
My choices take me to heartbreak city many more times than I care to feel or tell.
Yes I do know that you never ask me to fall in love with you.
You never demanded love from me.(I wish you would)
Did you say "I need you to fall in love with me."
Did you say "I just have to have your love" or "I don't see how I could possibly live without it" or "Love me you fool."
The answer in all cases is definately "NO".
It couldn't be much clearer than that.
What part of no don't I understand?
Once again I have lost my cool and lost my chance to be loves man of the year by becoming another love's fool.
What else can I say except have a nice day.

your thoughts are very well written, James. There's one thing we just can't do....and that's to make someone love us. Unfortunately that doesn't stop us sometimes when we want it so badly....best of luck to you...

the worst fool is someone who keeps doing it, it's so easy to say "I Love you' harder to prove it, worst thing? We keep going back for more. My best to you/!
