Ok, well...my timing sucks. I'll make the coffee. Dreams, dominoes, bridges...they all fall, sooner or later. Wish it wasn't so.

~Paula, after reading this senryu, the first words out of my mouth were "oh wow!" There is such power and defeat in so few words, I relate very deeply to this and applaud your talent to write a senryu such as this by using an often cliched metaphor - but you made it intense and expressed yourself very well. I do hope that this does not echo your personal life. Into the library this goes~
