A Grand Seduction Across the green ribbon of this day I walk with the sun at my back and all the glorious beginnings of color lifting around me. The blue periwinkle reaches for my ankle and the golden trumpet flower breathes into the air a symphony of fragrance. All around the fruit trees are budding, holding their tiny color out like a gift. The vines climb up the chain link and across wooded slats, reaching jasmine white into the alley. The sun shines now on a pillow where spring makes love, for I hear her calling, look, look at what I am to become, as with grand seduction she lays down and lets me watch her frolic. In the dew of little things, the heart finds its morning and is refreshed. (ee cummings) |

lovely images Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning. |

A lovely, directional poem, Martie. Thanks for it. Claire Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other's eyes for an instant?......Henry David Thoreau |

I knew that spring's siren call beckoned and enticed... but I'd never thought of it as seduction... what a wonderful image you've given! *S* Beautiful! |

The sun shines now on a pillow where spring makes love, for I hear her calling, look, look at what I am to become, as with grand seduction she lays down and lets me watch her frolic. Oh Lordy me! this is beautiful Martie love it Maree I may know the word but not say it I may know the truth but not face it I may hear a sound a whisper sacred and profound but turn my head indifferent.
